This true temple of wine created by Sergi Ferrer-Salat has skilfully expanded its concept to include an excellent restaurant with an unmistakable personality of its own. Chef Ariadna Julián heads Monvínic's kitchen, which stands out for locally sourced and sustainable Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine recognized with the slow food “Km 0” certification. Although the menu offers daily surprises, the mushroom spelt risotto, charcoal-grilled octopus with citrus, and slow-roasted pork jowl with shrimp all come highly recommended. Every dish is paired with a wine from one of Barcelona's finest cellars, home to over three thousand wines from around the world.
