Every day sees the arrival of fresh sea bass, bream, gilt-head bream, and snapper from the sea, while the land brings tomatoes from the Vallès, vegetables from the Maresme, lamb from Osona... Here traditional recipes are prepared simply, using innovative techniques. The essence of Mediterranean food is written into the DNA of a restaurant where the charm of an old fisherman's tavern meets the comfort and elegance of modern dining.
Fresh ingredients rule the menu, which changes daily. Even so, chef Rafa Medrán suggests a few favourites, among them arroz a la cazuela (meat or seafood rice casseroles), oven-baked fish, and cod with garlic mousseline à la Josep Mercader.
