Disfrutar is a new venture by Mateu Casañas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch following their professional stint at elBulli and the success of Compartir, their restaurant in Cadaquès. Disfrutar means “enjoy” in Spanish, and that is exactly what this restaurant is all about.
Disfrutar means enjoying Catalan and Mediterranean food; enjoying the pure expression of the chefs' creativity; enjoying an avant-garde gastronomic experience. Using only the finest market-fresh ingredients, the restaurant seduces all five senses with its flavourful and wholly original delicatessens: the “Disfruta” (enjoyment) of the olive, crispy egg yolks with mushroom jelly, or the truly astounding macaroni a la carbonara.
Every table provides an excellent view of the culinary show taking place in the open kitchen. The beautiful interior design is a feast for the eyes and won top honours in the interior design category at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.
